St. Johns Farmers Market
St. Johns Farmers Market, a program of St. Johns Center for Opportunity, runs Saturdays through November 23 at the intersection of N Charleston Ave and N Central St, next to the St Johns Bachelor Club.
The 2024 season has a full vendor roster, including new and returning small businesses spanning local, sustainably-grown agriculture, artisan food, and handmade arts and crafts. To see which vendors are scheduled for each week, check out the interactive market map.
Rocky Butte Farmers Market
Established in 2019, Rocky Butte Farmers Market's (RBFM) mission is to provide NE Portland, Oregon residents with access to affordable, seasonal, locally grown foods and artisan products with a primary goal of lowering barriers to market participation for beginning and under-represented vendors.
Every Saturday from 9 am - 1 pm from Saturday, June 1 to Saturday, September 28.
Located at their new location on NE Siskiyou Street, between NE 80th Ave & NE 82nd Ave (near Glenhaven Park).
NW Marine Art Works Open Studios
Artists at NW Marine Art Works (NWMAW) are opening their studios on Saturday & Sunday, June 1st + 2nd (10am - 4pm). With more than 60 artists participating, art lovers will find paintings, prints, fine art, ceramics, photography, sculpture, mixed media, glass, jewelry, apparel and more.
Visitors can support local artists, listen to live music and enjoy local food and drink while interacting with artists in their creative work spaces.

St. Johns Spring Fling
Visit St. Johns Plaza on Saturday, April 27 for a district-wide celebration with live music, giveaways, activities, and specials at local businesses!
There will also be hula hooping with Allison Kirley, a visit from The Smalls mini horses, music from jazz duo Portland Standard Time, free pictures from the Uniko Fotobus, and drag Queen story time at 1 pm and a pinata at 1:30 pm.

Meet some of Portland's best makers and creators. With almost 200 hundred makers, the Night Market offers food carts, drinks, clothing, lifestyle goods, home goods, body care and art.
The Portland Night Market is a FREE event open to all ages.

Third Saturday in Laurelwood Park
Join the Foster Area Business Association (FABA) for a free afternoon of games in the park. From 1 - 4pm, they will provide giant Jenga blocks, human-sized Connect Four, cornhole, and ladder toss for the community to play and engage with each other. Laurelwood Park is one of the few parks in the City of Portland that sits in the middle of a business district. FABA is excited to welcome the community to gather in and enjoy this public space on a recurring basis.
While you’re there, please consider visiting nearby businesses for shopping, eating, and drinking.
FABA is also collaborating with Dye Dye My Darling Salon and local artists & makers, who will host a Queer Art Market (from 1 - 5 pm) along SE Foster and 63rd Avenue across the street. We’re excited to activate Foster and promote it is a place to eat, drink, shop, and play.

Portland Winter Light Festival
Prosper Portland is a proud sponsor of the 9th Annual Portland Winter Light Festival, which takes place from Friday, February 2 to Saturday, February 10. The Winter Light Festival uses light-based art to invigorate Portland in the winter and showcase creative collaborations between retailers and artists. This festival attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually and features over 120 art installations and more than 300 artists and performers at locations all over Portland.
Be sure to check out Prosper Portland’s installation at the Portland Winter Ice Rink and our Shop Small PDX Winter Window Stories installations throughout the city. While you’re downtown, you can also check out the FATHOM immersive art experience in the Melvin Mark Central Plaza at 337 SW Alder Street.

Winter Window Stories, Chapter 2
Small business owners are joining the Portland Winter Light Festival! Following the success of Chapter One of the our Winter Window Stories, which brought visitors to neighborhoods and small businesses all over Portland, we have created a series of unique, illuminated Shop Small PDX Winter Window Stories as part of the Winter Light Festival, in addition to hosting an exhibition at the Portland Winter Ice Rink. These installations will welcome residents and visitors to each of these eight participating neighborhoods, alongside the Winter Ice Rink:

Winter Window Stories - Dance Party Bus
What’s better than a dance party? A dance party on wheels!
Ty Givens, owner of Bobby, a ’91 Ford DJ Party Bus, will be making stops at our Winter Window Stories, Chapter 2 locations to keep the party going for the Portland Winter Light Festival. This isn’t just any party bus. On the outside, Bobby will be covered in lights that move to the beats and sequence of music. On the inside, stalactites and glowing gemstones will light up your dance party. Here’s where and when you can find him from 6-8 pm on the following nights:

FAN EXPO Portland
Join tens of thousands of fans and experience the ultimate playground for comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming. Three days of citywide events, family-friendly attractions and world-renowned celebrities await. Shop at hundreds of vendors and exhibitors, check out panels and workshops, meet favorite stars and creators, and celebrate what makes them geeky with thousands of other fans in cosplay.
Cocoa, Cider, and Caroling on Foster
Come do your last-minute holiday shopping at local retail shops, get a warm holiday drink courtesy of FABA and Kainos Coffee, and enjoy the sounds of caroling from Blueprint Ensemble Arts who will be singing to passersby and in front of local businesses (near 64th and Foster).
Cocoa and cider will be provided free from 3-5pm in front of Hammer + Jacks (6406 SE Foster) while supplies last. Blueprint Ensemble Arts will perform nearby during this time, too. We will also be set up in front of Hammer + Jacks and will give out limited gift cards from local businesses further down the road to encourage support of all FABA businesses.
Additionally, we’ve partnered with Prosper Portland and the Portland Events & Film Office to utilize American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for a cool activation at Larkspur and Higher Self (between SE 63rd & 64th on Holgate). Both businesses have decorated their storefronts and will host a busker to play music outside starting at 4pm.
Portland Winter Ice Rink
The Portland Winter Ice Rink and Woodsy Winter Village is a family-friendly outdoor ice rink located at the west end of the Morrison Bridgehead on the waterfront in Portland, Oregon.
In addition to skating, enjoy a variety of activities in the Woodsy Winter Village which features a concession marketplace, food, warm beverages, and a cozy lounge.

Shop Small PDX Winter Window Stories are unique window art installations that welcome residents and visitors to learn more about the inspiring stories of Portland neighborhoods, as told by local businesses and artists.
