About the Artist

Madeleine Arana is a rootin’ tootin’ gal. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019 with a BFA in Animation, she drove across the country to pursue her love for stop-motion photography. When she’s not making tiny people and puppets, she’s making comics and drawing self portraits of herself sobbing. Spending most of her life in Florida, she’s not yet used to the temperatures of the Pacific Northwest and this piece was inspired by her need to bundle up and accidentally cosplay as the Michelin Man during winter.
