August Artist in Residence
Fern & Wolf is a small brick-and-mortar in Foster-Powell, specializing in curated home decor and vintage furniture and focusing on local artists and makers. With a goal to be a one-of-a-kind art gallery where you can see art in a lived-in setting, like you were at home. Fern & Wolf has a monthly artist residence with an opening night the first Saturday of the month.
Join us on August 1st from 6pm-9pm and see the works of Jennifer McKay — a self taught oil painter with a passion towards becoming a full-time artist. She has been drawing since she was a child and a few years ago she discovered oils which took her hobby to another level. Her vibrant representational oil paintings, focusing on still lifes and nature through the study of color and light, aims to evoke joy and peace while appreciating the beauty in the small things that are all around us. And with some of her paintings, we really do mean small!
Join us for good conversation and a (free) glass of wine.
