The Soul Box Project presents This Loss We Carry, an installation of over 40,000 origami Soul Boxes representing the number of people killed or injured by gunfire in the U.S. so far in 2022. This is the first Portland exhibition by The Soul Box Project since 200,000 Soul Boxes were installed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., last fall.

The exhibit is free and open to the public July 7 and July 27, 3-6 PM, or by appointment. Contact info@soulboxproject.org.

Pedestrians may view much of the exhibit July 7-27 through the building’s windows. A series of private Grief-Healing Circles will be held in the space throughout the month.
