Starting Saturday, May 22, Mercatus will team up with Window Shop, a program co-founded by Portland Made and Makers Union PDX, to present My People’s Market Window Shop: See/Scan/Shop. The event will feature local Black, Indigenous and all People of Color (BIPOC) makers in the 10Y building at SW 9th and SW Yamhill, facing the Galleria MAX stop.

The MPM Window Shop will open Saturday, May 22 and close Sunday, July 25.  Special events featuring food vendors and musicians will take place on Sunday, May 23; Sunday, June 27; and Sunday, July 24. For the latest information follow @mypeoplesmarket on Instagram.  Window vendors are all Mercatus members and/or past participants of My People’s Market.  Passersby can view items displayed in the window and scan QR codes on their smart phone, which lead to a virtual gallery that links directly to the vendor’s online sales platform.
